Welcome

Founded in 1997 from the merger of Colusa Rural and Grand Island Fire Departments, the Sacramento River Fire Protection District provides Fire and EMS coverage to over 200 square miles of Colusa County, California. The District is currently served from Joseph F. Willoh Station in Colusa, California; and Grand Island Station in Grimes, California.

OUR MISSION
To serve and protect, without prejudice, life, property, and the environment from the effects of fire, explosion, physical entrapment, hazardous materials, and natural disasters through the delivery of innovative, effective, and quality emergency services by actively being involved in public education, training, fire protection, administration, and being a community oriented service agency
